what wire do i hook up to my air/fuel ratio gage on the o2 sensor

What kind do you have?

Do you have a digital a/f gauge or a light show gauge?...........

i am pretty sure its a light show it just lights up
red to green like a rpm gauge

its an autometer phantom series air fuel ratio gauge.

It's the white wire (#7) on the ECU "D" connector.

I started out with one of those not knowing any better and to be honest, they're really not that useful. They can only tell you if you're above 14.7:1 or below it, not the exact value. I ended up selling it and buying an AEM wideband which will tell the exact A/F from 10:1 to 18:1. A narrow band gauge (what you have) can't be used for tuning like a wideband can.
