im planning on throwin a cold air intake into my recently bought 94' gsr, with cold air intakes ranging from $10 to $300 and a million brands to choose from whats a good brand to go with to get the best performance?

 

buy an ebay intake get a kn filter and be done...dont focus too hard on an intake...you wont see gains warranting 300 dollars....i dont care what AEM says

 

If you want the "best" type of intake performance-wise, go for one that goes to the fenderwell. Its a minimal gain, but its the best you can find, just remember to get a bypass valve or take it off when it rains.

 

K&N drop-in air filter would be a good choice, IMO.

 

 

Based on these tests Ram Air's are better in everyway.
