my engine only revs up to 5thousand rpm when its parked does anybody know anything about this? i ran a p28 chipped with a unlimiter does the vtec need to be connected?? if yes does my 92 honda come pre wired for vtec? i heard it does.. but when i put the vtec wiring harness my engine starts to jump.. and lag out.. so i put the stock wire harndness i just need to install the vtec wires to my ecu help thank!!!

 

It's a rev limiter. Most cars have them, when you are not driving it should rev any higher than that.
