I just picked up a JDM interior clock for christmas. And whenever I turn on my headlights, the clock dims. How can I prevent this.

Out of the wiring harness to the clock itself, there are 4 wires, would I just snip one of these wires?

Any help would be cool.

sorry i can't help, but what is the difference between the jdm and the usdm?

 

It lights up amber, only difference, lol.

Well, I asked for it because my original clock was not working.

But went I went to put it in, I realized my original one was never plugged in

The best part is, I've had this car for approaching 3 years, hahaha.

If anyone has the answer would appreciate it.

 

do you have a helms manual???

find out which wire connects to the headlight switch and disconnect it..or hardwire it directly to your battery.

 

quite honestly, I think all clocks dim whe you turn on the headlights.

 

why does it matter, honda made it that way cause it is damn brite in the dark
