Honda Prelude All Model Preludes

my 5th gen stuck in 3rd gear!! and the stick is loose!! how can this be!!?? HELP!!!

Default my 5th gen stuck in 3rd gear!! and the stick is loose!! how can this be!!?? HELP!!!

i was approaching a stop in 3rd. when i hit the brakes i put it in neutral.. thats when the stick went LOOSE! the wierd thing is.. is that its still in 3rd gear!! and it wont budge back to neutral or any other gears!! HELP ME and MY SH PLEASE!!!

i think your C Clip pop out either that are your cable snap on you. take your center console out and see if the C clip pop out. the clip is on the side of the shifter assembly. the C clip is number 7

could be a bad shift linkage also. basically same thing happened to me but I was stuck in 2nd. forced it back out of 2nd, stick was loose. ended up replacing the shiftlinkage cause one of the cables was binding.
