LSD tranny with 4.266 FD?
Hey guys,
I'm going to be putting a lsd in my tranny this winter and i'm looking to keep my 4.266 final drive. Can i use a itr lsd and re-use the stock LS FD gear? or will i need to go with the quaife or another brand? I'm assuming obx is still something to stay away from... too bad... soo cheap.
So second part if the itr lsd won't work i'm open to suggestions as to which companies make a good lsd. I would prefer an actual limited slip to a torque biasing like the quaife, but if the quaife gets good reviews i'll be persuaded.
Thanks

The quaife is going to hold up a lot better then the oem type r LSD. But then you wont have the nice final drive.
Im in the same boat as you, im going with a quaife LSD in my LS tranny w/ a light flywheel and exedy stg 2 clutch. Should be fine for me.
