Default Need help with jerks and "tak" sound when shifting

Hi,

I have a 91 Civic EE9 (B16A1) with manual gearing and i have the following problem.

When i shift (itīs more noticeable on lower gears and rpm) the car jerks and hesitates and it does a "tak" sound. Itīs almost impossible to do a smooth shift.

Randomly, specially on stronger desaccelerations (when i lift the clutch pedal) or when i drive on irregular roads, it makes a stronger sound and i feel a vibration on the clutch pedal.

If i stop the car in 1st gear and push it, it makes the "tak".

If i put the car, for example at 10km/h (+-6mph) in 2th gear with clutch pedal fully pressed down and lift it hardly, the car begins to jerk and bumping for a seconds

I donīt know if all these problems are associated, but i think so.

What could be? Iīve heard it could be the driveshaft, the steering box, the gearbox.. Iīm afraid because someone tell me that it could be the driveshaft and if it brokes, the gearbox brokes too..

Thanks in advance

sometimes when its raining and i get in the car and drive off, my car does that also; but thats because of my slippery shoes. I think its more of a driver problem.

Sounds like you may have issues with your flywheel/clutch or axles possibly. My car chatters at low RPM coming from a stop and I need to have my flywheel resurfaced and clutch replaced soon.

I dunno much about the other stuff, but my mom's camry does this if you don't give it enough gas going into second gear.

thats just not ur moms camery, thats every car. Which leads me back to my statement earlier. Same thing happens to me when the peddles are wet and or shoes i am wearing are. the clutch peddle slips and the car doesn't get enough gas.

^^ Okay, cool, just didn't know about other cars since they're not as picky as my mom's, but it seems like it could be driver error, I had a lot of trouble when I started.

In this case isnīt a driver problem.. The noise, vibration and jerk are there. The car have a problem

Check your motor mounts as well. Busted mounts can allow the motor to rock back and forth in the engine bay and can cause the jerking when accel/decel or shifting.

Also this can be normal as well depending on how bad it is. My spec jerks a small bit when I shift if I dont match the revs right, but its only for a split second.
