Default B16/B16A2

You know. I have only been getting into B16 engines for about 7 months now and I still don't know which one I really should get. I mean, it would be satisfactory to have a 1.8L block, but I doubt I'll ever find one. I just need a straight forward answer.

or
JDM B16A2 SI-R 92-95 Civic

Thanks guys

all b16a are the same, as in the longblock, except for the b16b(type r).

if you want a 1.8L engine, just get a b18a/b LS block and drop a b16a2 head on it then you'll get best of both worlds for cheaper.

a ls vtec is not for everyone, just because it makes type r power, doesn't mean its safe.
Get a b16 if you just want to mess around or a gsr if you want reliability.
With a ls/vtec, you always got to watch the oil pressure and watch for starving the head of oil.
It's a bitch and not fun, if you are up to that, and know what you're doing then ls vtec may be for you
