my cousin has a 90 DA, its a automatic GS...
she says that the car will not shift from park untill the car has warmed up
I figured it has something to do with the neutral safty switch... does this make sense i havent looked at it yet but i figured id help.

 

This doesn't help or anything, but that doesn't sound that bad to me.

 

actully i got that wrong when the car is put into park, the park light on the dash doesnt light up and the keys do not come out she has to wait for about 15 minutes untill the car can be placed into "park" ( when in P its actully locked up and the tranny is in park) and then the keys can be removed

 

I would check the tranny shifter linkage cable. It might need an adjustment

I agree it could be a sensor but I always check the easiest and cheapest thing first.

 

same thing happend with my old car when i had a auto i hated it... i changed the trans fluid that helped a lil but it didnt really fix it.. i dont know what to tell u tho but i get what u are saying
