chipped sleeves at top what causes these? can i still used block?

looks like the block was prolly in somebodys garage and had **** dropped on it , was kicked around and leglected . and no thats not usable IMO . gotta sleeve it.

I forsee sealing problems.

Either way an impact had to cause those there could be otherdamage. Looks like a perfect excuse to resleeve to me!

Im getting a new block.........they guy I bought it from said he would get me a new one..........sleeving is not feesible at this time glad I didnt send it to the mahine shop for new pistons and rods to risky
