So you want you corners to be JDM ?

1) Go to you local hobbyshop or even walmart and get a GOOD Stainglass TRANSPARENT paint... Walmart Sells Crown which is pretty good
(KRYLON Paint comes out yellow)

2) Take your lights off

3) Lightly Scuff them using sandpaper maybe around 400 GRIT would be good

4) Clean them

5) Spray AWAY!

The more coats you give it the darker they get!

Krylon comes out yellow because you obviously bought YELLOW, you have to special order the orange krylon, or you can simply mix red and yellow to make amber.

Actually your wrong, the cap can be orange and it will come out yellow... it's happened to alot of people... my buddy did it the other day I don't have a digi cam or else i'd show you a pic... here is the crown one

Will try to, lost my digi cam when my moms EL was stolen, waiting for insurance to give me the cheque so I can go buy a new one then I can show you guys what krylon looks like , my buddy did TWO Coats , and his came out yellow and half of his corner was already orange and with those 2 coats it came out like a NICE dark amber like thsoe bumper lenses... so it MIGHT just be the coats... not sure I haven't yet used it

 

Yea I know what you mean, the yellow cap looks orange, almost fooled me when I bought some. But then I read the bottle (that's key ) and it said yellow. I haven't heard of any stores that stock orange, they all have to special order it.

 

Dosn't say on the bottle... just goes by cap color which is retarded lol... Crown is carried normally you dont have 2 special order it

yes the can is labelled, i almost got fooled by the yellow also.

yea 400 is gonna leave sand scratches. you may wanna consider from 600-800grit instead

 

Any pics of the Crown spray can? So I can look for it? Ive been to my walmart and couldnt find any orange transparent paint.

 

let me know if you can't find any at walmart, i have 5 cans of the krylon sitting here

 

go to walmart and they have this paint called house of colors, it is a little smaller than your average paint can. and i got the one that is called tangerine. it costs about 8 bucks. 6-8 coats and you've got yourself some jdm style corners. one can did both corners and bumpers.
