heres a quick dumb question about degreeing cams
basically im a little confused about the process. how do you figure out how close those valves are with a particular cam? ill ask about piston to valve clearance at a later date when the annoyance of this one dies down. maybe on christmas hwen people are in the giving spirit.
Degreeing a cam has nothing to do with piston to valve clearance. You will need to clay the engine to determine valve clearance. Degreeing only brings the cam to crank relation into phase to manufacturers specifications. Remenber, when you degree or clay a vtec engine to lock the rockers together so you are up on the vtec lobe!
