i have a 92' teg-gs, would i have to change any wiring if i swap a b16a2. and it might sound dumb, but would i need to change the upper driver side mount, still using the stock b18 cable tranny? thanks.

 

you talking about the 99-00 b16a2 out of the civic si? then yes you have to use a different wiring harness(i believe) because the b16a2 engine is obd2. the whole driver side mount that bolts on the engine(bracket and all) will need to be changed to the 92 bracket and mount because the ek's use driverside jelly mounts.

 

sorry but according to my research the b16a2/a3 is for a ....well 93'-95' del sol, if so then isnt it obd1, or am i way off base i was more into single cams. so im trying to get the right info, u know, any help is appreciated

umm...the b16a3 are out of the del sol vtec's(94-97) and the b16a is out of the 99-00 si, and they both are obd2.

yea they del sol vtec's were made from 94-97...so 2 of the years were obd1

yes 90-93 tegs are commonly called DA(chassis code)

but technically
90-93 3-door hatches are DA9
90-93 4 doors are DB1
and 92-93 gsr's are DB2

its 1700 plus shipping and you get the short gear b16 cable tranny, Lsd is 300 more.
