Default Booo ATTS light

So I was playing on an on ramp the other day and I was going around 60 then I went to shift into 3rd and when I did my ATTS light and CEL came on. Is my ATTS just not going to work now? If I keep driving will I cause damage? Also how much is it usually to fix an ATTS problem, lets say if something needs to be replaced. Car has 61k on it.

OMG! It's going to explode! Whatever you do, DON'T KEEP DRIVING YOUR CAR!!!!

I'm just kidding...I'm a little weird today. You should probably have it looked at. Without knowing what code it's throwing, it's hard for us to diagnose.

I don't think it's too abnormal for the light to pop on once in a while. It's when it constantly does it that you should be worried. Pull the Clock/Radio fuse in the under-the-hood fuse box for 20-30 secs. to reset it.

So the light is on for no reason and I should ignore it and reset it? Is it just because the OBDII is so sensitive to EVERYthing?

I'm sure it came on for a reason and you can pull the code to find out what the exact problem is, but the atts is overly sensitive and kicks off for no apparent reason sometimes. I would reset it this time, but if it does it again, you might want to check the exact code to diagnose the problem.

As stated, reset th ECU then pray that the light doesn't come back on. If it does pull the code yourself or go to autozone and let them do it.

Since the CEL came on at the same time, the problem is not your ATTS.

Everytime something goes wrong and the CEL comes on it will automatically shut down the ATTS which results in the CEL/ATTS light.

Now if you only had the ATTS light then the problem is in your ATTS.

When your CEL is on, the car is in limp mode. With the ATTS light on, ATTS will not work either.

Well I got code 22. V-TEC Malfunction. Is this something I need to take to the dealer. Or would I be able to fix this myself?

Edit: Reset it and both lights did not turn on. In third gear while ingage in v-tec it felt like it stopped responding once. Not sure if was just my mind playing tricks or what.
