SRS light '96 acccord
I have a 96 accord and the SRS light is on. When I hooked up my obd2 scanner there wasn't any codes. I reset the codes anyway, but the light still stays on. WTF? Can anyone give me a clue about what is keeping the light on with out an error code?

I would like to fix the problem. I thought the scan tool would confirm that there was a problem, but it said there wasn't any errors. The light came on after the car as jump started. If the problem is going to take big bucks to fix I would at least like to turn the light off.

More research turned up this - http://www.geocities.com/myintegra96/srs.html Is this the same as using the scan tool to do a reset?

maybe someone else could help you more, you could always pull the fuse, make the bulb burn out, try disconecting the batt

I think there is a dummy plug in the under dash fuse box. it's a one pin connector that plugs into fuse box. you can tell which one by seeing if the spot on the fuse box is empty. jump this wire and you will get a flashing code.
