The short shifter is hitting the exhaust causing a rattle. anyone have theis problem before? can i just shave down the plastic on the bracket to rise the shifter? helpp please rattle is driving me crazy

 

Also, im about to buy a free flow cat off ebay. r there any precautions on which i should know about?

 

I'm yet to install my short shifter, but its hitting the exhaust? Hmm... thats not good. Maybe an exhaust shop could help you out.

 

NOPE. he told me to leave. i have an obd1 in a obd2 chassie. Im a welder so i can change if i have to but i want to avoid fabracating if i can.

This has been posted a 999999555555544444111113333322222255554488888 times. Most people deal with it. I have a skunk2 short shifter, and it rattles. I just put my hand on the shifter or turn up the radio. Search is your friend.
