Is this a piece of crap?
I want to get a intake system for my car and i saw this on ebay

It looks alright - will it work with my 95 accord lx and how hard is it to install - and does it make a better sound to your engine?
I plan on gettting a KnN air filter soon to go with that but will the one that comes with be ok for like a month?

No... that ain't no crap.
My intake was bought from ebay, only thing that it's made by Bomz.... but the intake itself is the same thing that can be found for 30 dollars or 150 dollars.... ...btw.. if you buy it for 150 just because it says "aem".. you would be too dumb!
I don't even bother with k&N filter or whatever... the one that came with mine intake (bomz) works fine and i'm sure it does its job!

I wouldn't call that a piece of crap, but it is a conventional cold air intake. It will add about half as much torque as it will horsepower. I would suggest looking into the AEM V2 intake. It will add equal amounts of hp and torque.
I'd ask around for other people's opinion on the more expensive AEM and other C.A.I systems.
From the looks of the auction item, it looks like it's been fabricated from extremely light materials. (Thin Wall tubing, stamped light weight brackets etc.) No fasteners, and I can't see the other end of the tube.
I'd continue asking opinions of store bought systems for durability, ease of installation, proper brackets and fit

you get what you pay for dude, i bought almost the exact same cai from ebay for $40... unless you know how to weld you wont be able to mount it to anything using the "hardware" they send... plus they show two vac ports on the tube but will send a pipe with only one...the constant whistle from the intake was very loud and very high pitched... not for me! but i since have upgraded to aem v2 ... install was a snap with actual hardware the sound is a normal low tone whistle and it looks 100 times better than that shiny generic pipe they sent me... just my 2cents.

people buy aem because it have high level of quality control, customer service, resell value, warranty and it's emission legal.
if you get caught driving with your bomz intake it's gonna cost you a 100 dollar fix it ticket.
maybe you don't have to worry about smog check but well, this is not the case if you live in cali.
if the pos filter works for you then be happy, but i am sure as hell i wouldn't be using some mystery filter on my car
