Question for motor techs..
alright i am changing my rings, i got them in the mail.. i didnt take my crank out, only the rods, and slipped my pistons through the top, already honed out the walls, but i know i need bearings right? those are the rod bearings, but someone also said imight need main bearings?? are those for the crank, cuz if so i don't need right? ne ways help is needed i wanna slap this biotch back together.

You don't need to replace the bearings but it is a good idea.
I am interested in how bearing matching and replacement is done with the motor in the car. BUMP.
