boost a b18c1 wiht itr pistons
ok heres my delema i was gona go allmotor so i bought a gsr long block with itr pistons, but i found a jackson racing super charger for the same price im gona pay for my header and cams, my question is would it be safe to boost a b18c1 wiht itr pistions as long as i get it tuned?

maybe at five or six pounds a very very conservative ignition map. so yeah, well tuned you probably could pull it off.

i did the all motor route in my old car, very very expensive. i would just boost it and maybe use a thicker head gasket to be on the safe side.
you can certainly hit 200whp with your setup all-motor. i hit 170whp/120wtq on my b18c1 (jdm itr pistons and cams otherwise stock internally) untuned and restrictive 60mm piping. the motors compression is 11.3:1 five or take and if you wanna boost Cometics' FI headgasket will drop you down 1point so 10.3:1 give or take.
you should be able to hit 200whp with proper tuning and some high flowing bolt ons
if you want a turbo on a stick at least get a headgasket.

I just recently sold my LS/Vtec JRSC and it had just PR3 pistons and ARP rod bolts and head studs.
It was at 10-11 lbs @ 8200.
Uberdata, never gave me any trouble.Daily drove it for a year and beat the **** out of it every day.Ran when I sold it.
