Default Exhaust question

I know that theres some exhausts out there that are really loud and street legal.
Yellow itr's really stand out and cops tend to pull you over even when they hear a loud noise from another car.

I was wondering if i would be able to photo copy or print out the papers some of the manufactures give with their systems showing that its street legal and show that to a cop, will that help me avoid a ticket?

has anyone ever got out of a exhaust ticket by showing the cop street legal certification?

I don't think the cop will really care. He'd probably tell you to bring it to court.

I agree. If he is pulling you over for a noise violation or a modified exhaust, his mind is probably already set on giving you a ticket.

X4 around town I keep it in the highest gear possible, just cruise everywhere. I dont want any cops (or thieves) giving me any extra attention.

Automotive exhausts aren't even that loud. What I want to know is, is why dudes on Harleys can blow my ear drums out on the freeways.

On Topic: It's not up to the cop to debate the issue. He is there for a sole purpose. This is why we have a judiciary arm of the government...so you can go talk to a judge.

Why do you feel the need to have an exhaust that is loud? Why bring that attention on yourself if you fill this is going to be an issue?

anyone driving car like ours, pigs will ticket us regardless to meet their quota. it really doesn't matter if your exhaust is loud or not. if your exhaust is street legal, take it to court and you can fight it. it worked for me.

Fixed it for ya.

This is just the way the law works. Yes, Harleys and muscle cars dont get stopped for loud exhausts. But they also dont sound like **** like 95% of import exhausts.
