wheel studs...
I'm kinda screwed because i snapped off one of my wheel studs becasue it was 2 degrees below and one of the others my friend stripped. I was wondering if i bought extended whele studs what they would look like and if there is anything else that i need to get in order to use them. Such as differnt lug nuts or what not. Please let me know im a complete noob to this... or if i could just buy two wheel studs how much would they be and how hard are they put on anyway?? thanks for your time and input.
so you want extended lugs for looks??? okay buddy, that's not why you should be getting them...
besides the lugs themselves, you will obviously need to get open ended lug nuts.
and if you do go towards the extended lug for the "bling factor," go with the arp's.

im not going with them for looks, i just need a replacement and was wondering what they looked like and how much replacements are (oem) and if i could buy them buy the stud or i had to buy a certain amount in a set
well considering you only broke one stud, there's no sense in replacing either 8 or 16 studs for extended ones(assuming your car is four lugged)
i say just replace the one you snapped off. no point of spending extra money on things you won't need/use.

The cost of the actual wheel studs is really cheap. Maybe around 2-3 dollars. The labor may be what sets the price off. If you do it yourself though, you'll save a lot of money. Let me see if I can find you the link.
There you go. Good luck!

no need to go to a dealer, just go to your local auto store, they're cheaper.

i compared the arp and blox studs.. the blox studs look thicker and a bit stronger.. one of my arp studs broke while i was loosening
i need to get a pic of my broken stud it was a pretty damn clean break
