Rear view Mirror
So I'm new to the world of Honda, and I've already done a search and can't find anything that would answer my question.
I just bought a 2002 Honda Accord and was adjusting the rear view mirror the other day when it came off in my hand. The whole thing came off except for the part that is glued to the windshield. I can slide it back in but it's still loose. Anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this?

there's a release tap that you can take off your mirror that way, i think you press the tap and it came out, just slide it back and wait until you hear the click
it should slide back in unless you, well, break something

Ok. So I see what you're talking about, but when I push the mirror back onto the piece that is glued to the mirror it seems to go on all the way and there is no click. How hard should I have to push?
It should take only moderate pressure to seat the mirror in it's receptacle. It may be that the mirror latch itself may be damaged from the previous owner. It could require picking up a new mirror.
