Default My rear view mirror wont stay on.

i just bought an 04 accord. The rear view mirror wont stay on. It looks like you are just supposed to push it in, but when i do that it is loose. Anyone know if a part is missing or something? Thanks

there should be a Vish U shaped clip that holds the mirror to the mirror base.

yeah, mirror base(adhered to the windshield), clip(available from dealer), and mirror assembly.

you rotate the mirror 90 degrees(either direction) from it's original position, slide it upward and rotate it back to lock it in place.
