Default WATER SENSOR CHECK ENGINE LIGHT pls help!

I just swap out my engine, i have one code (code 6) which deals with water temp sensor. My question is wear is the sensor and what you think it can be. I have a 97 b16b. Also i can't get the sensor on the tranny to plug in any suggestions?

i believe your talking about the coolant temp sensor, in that case there are 2 of them. One is on the thermostat housing (follow top radiator hose to find it if youve never changed it) and the other is right below the distributor. they are slightly different, one controls the radiator fan coming on/off, the other goes to the temp guage on your dash.
