how can i tell if my car is v-tech or not

 

the VTEC solenoid

 

located where i do body work eletrical and everythingelse just started getting into motor work. hard to find a cheap mechanic

its gonna be right near the distributor its gonna have a yellow/green cap

if ur car has a phone jack then it is possible to install v-tech, regardless of what motor u have. =]

why does everyone ganna make a big deal of how to spell vtec. you guys already get the point he's trying to make.

 

it just irks me, i don't know why.

 

go look at your engine on the left hand side stamped into the metal theres a code like this: D15B7 or D16Z6

tell us the engine code and we can tell u if this is a vtec motor or not.
