Did you check for continuity from the knock sensor engine harness connector and the ecu pin D3? What model is your lude to start with?

no i didn't, but it doesn't matter know...just work up this morning and the car rev up to 8000rpm...my vtec wasn't opening up before (I did everything)...then a couple days ago i decided to bang out the oil pan (it was dented in)...lucky me, it didn't bend the pump...so now vtec opened up now, but i could rev past 6200rpm...i'm guessing it needed some time to adjust...today it works, but i still have the knock sensor code...not affecting the performance, so it doesn't bore to much...the only thing that bothers is the check engine light on....yes, i reseted it 100's of times (disconnecting the battery & unpluging the ECU... now that it works i reset it one time, and then we'll see.....hot deals!!!!couldn't get any better then that!!!
