b16 and b18c5
can you tell the diffrence besides the vailecover and intakemanifold between the b16 and b18c5 head while its already in the car for example an id# or something also the same for cam shafts and trans
correct me if im wrong, but im sure there is no markings on the outside so u can tell one from the other....only the internals are different, but as far as i know and can remember, no visual markings on the head itself. Could be wrong tho...

an untampered ITR head will have a patch of green paint behind the distributor
if you are able to see, the intake ports will also have some mild porting

Both USDM and JDM will have this mark.

Well, my ITR head is a PR3-3 so that is no way to distinguish between them.
The ITR head also has dual valvesprings on both exhaust and intake, you can check this by removing the valvecover. Bowl work is hard to see without removing the head from the block, and to check the cams you would have to remove the cam caps so that's a bit more work.
