Default fenderwell lining?

alright....my car is low yes. maybe not as low as some...but low enough to rub here and there .... how do i proceed to take out the fenderwell lining ..... do i just remove the whole big plastic piece in my fenderwell or what ... and what are the consequences of removing it if there are any ... and what do i do about the pinch-weld thats in the fender without making anything weaker

thanks in advance

Jack the car up, take off the wheel and look at it. You'll see some clips/plastic screws you need to remove and that's it. Consequences? Water and dirt may get it making your engine dirtier faster.

An increased chance of hydrolock is the biggest issue you'll deal with. That and a very dirty engine bay.

Which is exactly why I put mine back on.

just roll your fenders. I used to scrape my tires a couple times per day but afterwards, driving from Sacramento to San Francisco and back, I didnt scrape one single time. After you roll your fenders you can still use the fender liner.
