I bought a crx 1990 dx and i put the motor and tranny and everything else into it and i went to start the car and when i turn the key to the point where the engine is on the fuel pump makes alot of noise and when i turn it over it dosent start up and it smells like alot of gas i think that fuel pump is messed up because it keeps running when the engine isnt running and it makes a whole bunch of noise if anyone knows what is wrong i could use the help or maybe a way to test the fuel pump or maybe its a fuse or somthin electronic i dont know plz help thanks

 

or it keeps running because its got a leak and cant build up pressure that would also explain why it smells like gas, and wont start
