Default fuel pump...

Guys... Would running out of gas in your car make a walbro fuel pump go bad or break? My little brother did this to his car and he now has problems starting his car when it sits for a couple of hours..It makes this bog noise for the first try then the second try at starting it works fine..could the injectors be clogged?..any info would be good

yes it will...it makes the pump work harder and heaat up way faster. fuel pumps and heat don't mix. They break easily that way

So should I put my inline pump in the engine bay or by the tank. Or engine bay heat doesn't make a difference.

You can buy it from b18bturbo (viren). I believe he can still get some kick a$$ deals on the walbro pumps..
