please HELP A.S.A.P. - Head Light / Tail Light problems
Please take a second to read my problem.
When my head light is on [low beam], all other lights turn off [tail light, instrument lights, corner lights, license plate lights, etc..], brake lights still work though.
This happened last night when i got into my car, turned on engine, turned the light control switch by the steering wheel once as usual to see my cluster and instrument lights on, but then i turn it to the second click and my headlight turned on but all other lights turned off. So i tried disconnecting the battery to reset the ecu, checked all the relevant fuses, they are all intact [not blown]. So i'm thinking there's a messed up RELAY somewhere. But i'm not sure...anyone ever encountered this problem before? Any help is appreciated, any wiring diagram or relay location?
PLEASE HELP, i've been driving home from work with no tail lights for the past 2 nights!!!
i had this problem once before, but that was due to a fried wire causing my main taillight fuse to blow(it knocked out my cluster, corner lights and running tail lights. but not brake lights). im not too sure on the relays, but if you checked every fuse and there not blown, check to make sure none of your wires fried. mine happen to be the spoiler running off my top brake light.
good luck. hope you get it working again. other wise ull be gettin pulled over for faulty equipment..damn state troopers..
