00 type R swap in ek smog question in ca NEED HELP!!!!

Default 00 type R swap in ek smog question in ca NEED HELP!!!!

I have a 99 hatchback with a 00 usdm type R swap just got a diagnostic check and no leaks no nothing car runs good.. Mods are intake and a chipped ecu(I think so cause I have no red line) any ways my question is how do I get it too pass smog will it even pass smog... And what steps do I have too go through in order too do this I live in nor cal so if any one can tell me where too go it would be a great help

first off you need to put a stock ecu in befor you smog

Put the stock ecu in, make sure all mods have carb numbers and go test. hit up the ref on natomas. when you call to make appointment, they will tell you how to get there.

Well what exact ecu do I need and who is selling one and around how much am I looking at spending... I stay in sacramento... Also can anyone give me the number too the reff.also if I put the stock ecu back inx should I be able too pass..also what does the reff exactly do that's different from a regular smog check thatnks

also anything else, also try a phone book, also search a little, also also also

dude...you need to search...i just did and there was like 18 fs threads for a type r ecu, which is the p73. And yes, you should be able to pass smog with the stock ecu because its a newer motor than the car.
