The instructions say to splice into the tach pin on the Ecu. I have no clue where that is. Is there anyother way to hook it up? and if so where?

 

That strikes me as a pain in the butt. Just use the blue wire at the cluster.

Or you can tap the blue wire that comes directly off the ignitor...

the blue wire on the back of the cluster i think is easier , when u get to the wires its gonna be in the plig closest to your drivers door right behind the tach then its gonna be one of the last wires closest to the drivers door ALL BLUE

 

I cannot find this wire to save my life... where could I hook it up under the hood?

yup thats the wire I hooked my tach up too.

 

got it It took me about 20 min to find it once I had the dash apart. thanks for all the help guys. I got it working
