Driving back from the dragstrip last night. I noticed that my tach would sometimes lose signal or jump. It would happen very randomly. Anyone know the cause?

I assume this is your stock tach in the gauge cluster? Do you have anything else wired into the tach signal wire? IE: shift light, vtec controller. If you do check the wiring there first.

Yup this is on the stock tach...The only thing I have wired up to ECU is Hondata. Could my coil be going bad?

Your tach signal is run through the ecu then to the gauge, I can only assume it is in the hondata ecu. I don't know enough about the hondata

It's just weird cause I've had the hondata in for 2 months now and no probs....it didn't happen till last night after drag racing. I just wanted to see if anyone else had same problem. I'm assuming its my coil.
