Default low idle after warmup

ok this has been going on for sometime now. 99 civic dx..after the car warms up, it likes to idle down to about 500 rpm maybe lower. when it does this the a/f gauge shows really lean. i was thinking maybe the fpr was bad or something. but i just put a y8 manifold on, new fpr,all new vac lines and it still does it..any ideas?

Adjust the idle near the throttle body.

a/f gauge = light show IMHO

also, it is only after driving it. if you start it up and let it sit, it is ok. but if you go for a drive around town, when you go and stop, the idle goes real low.

mine seems to do this ... after it warms up , i drive it around and when i come to a stop instead of idleing at 750 . i get about 670 to 700 .. but if i turn my headlights on it brings the idle back up to 750 ... any clues ? heh ben going on for a while

It uses less gas lol</TD></TR></TABLE>

yes it does bother me cause it means its not running as it should. hah maybe the engine is compensating for the low idle by using more gas to try to bring it up since it doesnt know what its doing ? or since the idle is lower it is bringing in less air but maybe the injectors are still some how firiing at what they would for normal idle causeing a rich mixture ? i wished my car used less gas hah only get aorund 240 on a stock gsr
