ok i just swapped in a d16z6 in my hatch and it was starting but when i revved it, it would shut off. now the car would start and then shut off in like 2 seconds and there were no cel's. tried 2 distributors and 2 other ecu's and same thing.

 

It sounds like maybe the fuel pump isn't getting sufficient pressure, however you engine has to be on for a few seconds to get a CEL. If it only runs for 3 seconds, there's a good chance it won't throw a code, even if there is one. Are your sensors mix-matched? IE: Map sensor and TPS sensor switched.

 

no the sensors are correct, had another eg right there. befroe it thew codes 3 and 41 and i fixed them now the car wont start

 

Main Relay maybe?

 

ok fixed the prblem turns out fuel pressure was low like 0 rly said. now when i rev it its bogging really bad and i have to mash the gas pedal to start it like a carburator car

 

also at idle the car is chapping like it has a aftermarket cam. wtf is wrong with this car? no cel either

 

it sounds like it could be your idle air control valve. defintly no your main relay cus the car wouldnt even crank

if it was the iacv wouldn't it throw a code?
