Default HAVING PROBLEMS WITH MY CLIMATE CONTROL... PLEASE HELP!!!

im having problems with my climate control. I have a 95 accord, and when i try to use the climate control setting to change the directions of the vents, to blow air from either the upper or the lower vents. it seems to be stuck on the upper vent and wont allow me to change it so the air will come to the lower vents or will it let me use the front window defroster. can someone please help me figure out how to fix this.......
thanx in advance

On my 95 there are little rollers next to the extreme side upper vents. you have to manually close those vents for the upper vents to be completely shut off. If you dont close those rollers and use the dial to switch to the lower vents air will continue to come out of the upper vents as well as the lower vents, and since the upper vents are large and open the amount of air coming out of the lower vent will be a lot less then if the upper vents were closed. The same amount of air is being blown into the car no matter what vents are selected just depends on how the velocity at the vents which depends on how many vents are open. (<----designs HVAC systems for pharmacuetical buildings so got long winded there) Hope that answers your question.
