Hello, I'm new to this site, and from what I hear you guys have some good info to give. Well right now I'm experiencing a problem in which I thought was a spun bearing. Well I got a newer block and I'm still having the problem. When I rev the motor there is a noise like a loud click, but it gets louder/faster as I rev the motor higher. I'm kind of hoping that its just the head because I have another head sitting in my shed that can be used. Somebody told me it was a stuck lifter, and that running the motor with auto tranny fluid for a half hour then changing the oil would fix the problem. If anybody could give me some info that would be great! I really want to get this fixed so I can start getting my turbo kit put together and on by the March HIN.

 

do a valve adjustment. I have never heard of running tranny fluid through it... so i dont have any say on that..

 

what do u mean by tranny fluid, there are many diff kinds
