Default B16---.48 A/R t3 To4E

I'm going to be running a 50 trim T3/TO4E .48 A/R turbine housing on a 9.2:1 B16 (thick cometic headgasket) ....Is there anybody out there running the smaller housing on a b16? I'm just hoping it doesn't fall off horribly at high RPM's, not that i'm much of a drag racer, i want a nice linear powerband and quick spool, but at the same time i don't want it to fall on it's face after 7-7.5k...If later on i decide to switch to a .63 it should be a direct bolt on yes?

SBR made 630 WHP on a 2.3L stroked mitsubishi using a .48 A/R T3/mitsu hybrid housing that flows less than a standard T3. It's not going to drop off horribly on your tiny 1.6 if it can support that much power on a 2.3L motor.

Well Mitsubishi's are a different beast...trust me iv'e owned three dsm's, i see what your saying, but it's kind of comparing apples to oranges...anybody have any actual experience with un-ported .48 A/R t3/to4E turbo's on b16's...??

i'm running t3t04e .48a/r 57 trim in my b16 for allmost 3 years now. its pretty good for daily need i hit full boost pretty quick but i'm only running 8-9psi.
anyway i'm switching to .63 soon coz' .48 burn my tires too fast.
