Default wiring ls to vtec

i just installed a b18c in replacement of the b18b the car originally had. on the b18c there is a pcv black box of some sort with an electrical connector going to it. this component sits next to the knock sensor area. i described this item to the dealer and thay cant seem to identify what it is. if anyone knows, please help me out. thanks.

thats the oil seperator one line goes from the hard water pipe and one and it goes to a pcv valve inbetween one of the intake manifold runners then back into the intake manifold right on the plenum.

is this item of major importance. i am running a jdm gsr computer. i cant seem to find an elecrtical connector for it from the ls harness. thanks again
