Hi, I have the F20A4 engine in my 4th gen Prelude (EDM). This compares to the F22 (Prelude S) in the US, as it was the model with smallest engine. I hope that the USDM and EDM F-engines have more in common than the F though, because there are few to no tuning parts awailable to my poor little F20 whatsoever.

I need some help. I know a H23/H22-swap would be the most cost-effektive way to more power. But after owning a couple of Preludes I feel like just cruising along, not bothering about building up an engine untill I'm done studying.

Thing is, I need to do atleast something. I have a full cat-back from apexi, a racing cat, and an awsome cai (still not sure if it gives or takes hp, looks good though). I'd like to get a intake and exhaust manifoil to complete the cycle, and perhaps a new set of.. err.. and perhaps a new cam.

So, are there anyone who know, think they know, or can figure out if the F22 and F20 engines are so alike that this stuff would bolt right up on it?

im from germany and i have a f20a4 bb3 prelude 133 hp

you can install a h23 header and a h23 intake manifold they are fitting for 100%
the car runs stock nearly 210 kmH and after moding the header and Intake manifold 220-225 kmH
this is the cheapest and best way to mod your f20a4 BB3 prelude

 

I'm from Norway. Can ANYONE confirm this? Sounds too incredible to be true that a H23 header would bolt on a F20...

 

I know the people here (Poland) are putting intake collectors from H23 engine

So probably the exhaust will fit too

 

H23 header bolts up to my JDM F22B, and I've heard that it'll work on your engine aswelll.

the h23 header and the h23 intake manifold definately fits a f20a4 engine everything is just plug+play :-)

the bb3 runs normaly about 210-215 kmH but with these 2 mods the car runs 225 kmH

Hi mates, I'm from Portugal and a proud owner of a 94 Prelude (bb3). I'm doing some modificatios to the engine and wanted to know if someone could help me. i've read about the intake manifold from the h23. can we really swap them? I would really aprecciate some help, just an amateur but always eager to learn something new.
