Default y7 and y8 mini me

I did my mini-me swap a few days ago y7 block y8 head. Everything was good till I changed the injecters. The car is a 2000 hatch, head 96. I know it doesnt matter. I put the y8 injecters in. The car runs good a day or two later I get a cel. Car still runs good. Code p0170, p0172. Im running the dx ecu w/ field vtec controller on stock settings. Any Ideas.

what ecu are you running? If your running the y7 then yes you will be rich as the injectors out of the y7 are smaller. Thus, the ecu still thinks to send the same amount of pulse width err whatever to the injectors and causing you to run rich because the pintle size is larger in the y8.

What should I do just live the cel? I have a 96 vtec ecu, but I dont want to but the ecu adapter. Since Im boosting my y8 sometime next year. Would the motor be ok with y7 injecters? (obd2 sucks ***)

Isn't 2000 still OBD-II just OBD-IIa, If it connects just use the ecu that already has Vtec and it should be find.
