gsr block
verry vague question, the going rate depends on your location, and how "easy" is it? what kind of experience do you have? itll probably take some motor pulling, headgasket figuring and timing belt figuring and a shitload of patience
well how bare or complete is the block? i jus did the same thing and this is what i had to get
-gsr arp head studs
-gsr timing belt
-gsr water pump
-gsr headgasket
-gsr headers or oem b16 headers but dc b16's wont fit
wat car are u putting it in, if in an ek ull need the b16 mount, ran me about 600 in labor

depends, for me i thought it would be, but now somthings wrong with it, and i regret not rebuilding it...it was a gsr bottom w/b16 piston= high compression....but since ur using a b16 head ur only lowering the compression so it might be a lil slower then a gsr if not equal to a stock gsr but the tranny is always a plus w/the shorter gears....i would do a rebuild

if ur putting into a 2000 si ur gonna need that b16 mount/bracket my headers didnt fit cause they were made for a b16 and gsr block is longer, whats weird is that my stock b16 headers did fit
maybe cause the dc's were 4-1? i dunno
