Default 02Sensor acting up, now fine?

Hey guys...

Well, its been 3 days!!! Yes 3 days since i got my brand new Shortblock, head machined, timing belt, valve adjustment, head gasket, therm, (NEW ENGINE! Warranty FREE FREE FREE!) I bet that boils your blood eh guys!

Anyhow, today i let the car warm up for 5 min, drove out and got a Check Engine, i drove back home after driving 2 kms and reset my battery and drove the same distance and it came back on.. It was a sudden JOLT and boom.

I took her into the dealership, and they verified it was my 02 sensor and its $230 !! .... anyhow, driving home it hasnt come back on!! its perfectly fine???

Im thinking maybe the new vapours or that huge pile of snow i sunk my car into exiting my driveway may have triggered it but its fine now??

Anyways, i hope it doesnt come back on, (just drove 35km home from acura and it hasnt turned on..)

it doesnt reset from the battery like that u can do it 2 ways, scanner or the ecu fuse next to the battery, its the radio backup fuse that resets the ecu. and the only reason that o2 is 230 bucks is cause it comes with the plug, but u can get a 40 dollar o2 from auto zone and cut the plug from urs.

If its the primary O2 sensor is giving you problems, you'll feel it. The car will drive like ****. You could run the car really hard and get the exhaust nice and hot and alot of the time that solves the problem. If not, you could try taking a blow torch to it.

thats weird i never felt the difference, i drove without any of the o2 sensors and a stock ecu when i was turbo, it just makes the ecu dump more fuel in thats all.

The funny thing is, the Check engine light isn't on anymore? and the car is fine!

It corrected/fixed itself somehow?

i did disconnect the negative terminal and the CEL went off btw.
