H22 swap help

Default H22 swap help

Right i have a 95 prelude S , its a RHD uk model , the engine is a F20a4 sohc 131 bhp model BB3
i have a Uk H22A engine with gear box , everything is there apart from drive shafts and ecu
-Is this a straight swap
-what ecu do i need
-is my 95 pre wired
-what drive shafts can i use
-any issues with exhuast
-and the engine has A/C can i diasble this

be greatful if i could have some replys on this as any infomation would be great

search around in the FAQ thread and you'll find most of yoru answers. there was a recent thread about which belt you need to use if you remove your a/c

thanx for the belt info , i have had a look around but most apply to the us model so i decided to do post one of my own realated to my uk spec car thanx stu

You should be able to use either tranny but the h22 tranny has closer ratios to keep you in the powerband. You should use an H22 ecu, in japan and here its code P13 for obd1(92-95) i dont know if the euro code is different. Your F series mounts might bolt to the H but im not 100% sure. The Faq will show you if your pre-wired. Use the H22 header and downpipe but i dont know if it will bolt up to your F's cat.

you should be able too, i dont know if they used the same block as our usdm base model ludes(F22a1) but it should work you just need to extend some of the wires to reach
