tach help...pictures???

Default tach help...pictures???

I want to install a tach or a cluster that has a tach. i tried once before and the tach didn't work with the cluster. I did a search and they said that all std's have a tach wire...where is this solid blue wire inside my car. thanks if you can pictures will help

there right! its a soild blue wire it should be in your chassis harness.if u cant find it splice and solder a wire from the blue wire at the dizzy.then run it to your tach(the round clip with only 2 wires ones soild blue then one black with yellow strip).

just get a 88-91 usdm si cluster, the tach goes to 8k, speedometer goes to 120 mph, and all u gotta do is unplug the 3 cables from ur stock cluster and plug those same ones into the same exact spot as the new one, its plug and play, and ya i had some issues with it a while ago before i actually took it apart and tried it, its simple

good luck

btw i got mine for like $30 total off of ebay, probly can get it even cheaper than that locally
