installing a cai
i jus got my cai in the mail. i know how to install it but theres a sensor on the stock intake not too far from the throttle body. im assuming its some sort of air sensor. on the cai its got a hole drilled already for the sensor but the problem is, the sensor is held in on the stock intake by a rubber piece with a clip, anyone have any tips on how to get that sensor in there and that'll hold real tight?
that rubber grommet that goes in the drilled hole should have a slit in the middle of it, push it in the hole until it kinda of pops in place, the sensor just pushes into the grommet, it holds itself in place
im not gonna check now cause its almost bed time, but i dnt think it came with a grommet, but thats a good idea i can always scurry up a grommet. should the intake kit should have came wit a grommet?

Yes... go look through the box and whever the intake is sitting for the grommet. I almost lost mine when I put a CAI on my Civic...

It also depends where he bought it from. Some places don't include everything you need. When I say 'some places' I mainly mean EBay. Despite intakes from EBay will get you the same result as AEM, Injen, etc they tend to skimp on stuff that you'll need.

Haha. I remember being new at this too
Yes, you can unplug the sensor after the car is off at the autoparts store and take it in to get the proper sized grommet
