Default CRX Axle

Is it possible to just replace the boot on an axle? If not, does anyone know where I can find the driver side axle for cheap on a 89 CRX? Thanks.

Yes, you can replace boot. Yes, you can go to auto parts store and get new one which is cheaper than the Honda axles.

Get a remanufactured axle, just replacing the boot is too much of a headache.

You're talking about a half hour job versus a two hour mess..

I agree just replace the whole axel its cheap like 60 bucks with the core....and you get the whole new axle... vs the 20 for just a boot

I had a bad boot and decided to try one of those quick boots, those things suck!!! theres no way that they can hold the grease in well i ended up just having to replace the axle anyways
