vtec is not working properly....when vtec engage it pulls back and slows down... also my rpm is kinda gay..... it jumps back and forth when im driving....from 2500rpm to 3000krpm or 3500krpm back to 2500krpm and motor boggs when it does that....why?? will a b16a2 oil pump be okay for a lsvtec setup? w/ ctr pistons in it....

 

are you spitting any codes?

if you have ctr pistons in your ls/vtec then you would have extremely high compression, you probably need to get it tuned badly. i would not personally run those pistons, they are heavy and high too much dome, i would buy some p30's or pr3's myself

you need to run a b-series vtec oil pump in an ls/vtes, the ls pump does not put out enough oil, and you should get a vtec water pump as well

 

Check your ignition system.
