This car is my daily driver, I would be fine with running 240whp right now.
Brand new OEM Oil pump
Brand new OEM water pump
Brand new OEM timing belt
Brand new OEM Headgasket
ARP Main studs
ARP 2000 Rod Bolts
ARP head Studs
ACL street Main and Rod bearings
Polished GSR Crankshaft
Align honed mains
Eagle Forged H-Beam Rods
JE 9.8:1 .020 over Pistons (2618)
Stock refurbished head.
Greddy Emanage, I do my own tunes (11.5:1 A/F Ratio WOT, researching timing).
All this will be done on stock sleeves, which is the only thing that worries me. I want to go .020 over on the sleeves but I believe that is their service limit. Anybody here that is boosted do this?

I believe the bore will be fine.. Us D-series guy's do .5mm overbore all the time.
It might actually be beneficial it's always nice to know your cyclinder walls are a perfect circle like they should be.

I pay a higher price for reliability, reguardless of if it's overkill or not. I'm going to put this engine back together and never worry about it again after my tune. Plus, I would like to know that if I ever really wanted to, I could push it harder than I currently am, a new pulley is only a phone call away.
I'm willing to bet that you can run 500whp on stock sleeves, but for how long, I have no clue, depends on the tuner, the driver, and the builder, not specifically in that order. I just want to know my engine will still be strong 4 years down the road because I know stock sleeves suck.

have you looked into crome or uberdata over the e-mangage. i think if you can do your own tunes, you would really like those two, being that you are obd1 and all. i am partial to crome myself and with crome pro ($150) and say ostrich you would be well under your e-manage price tag and get real time programming, etc. autotune!!

Honestly, this summer I will be ditching the E-Manage because I myself am partial to Megasquirt'n Spark. Emanage is seriously the worst thing I have ever worked with but I bought the car with it on it. How long has chrome been around? I can't say I've heard alot about it.

1- your piston rings will deteriorate just as fast with a built motor
2- youll be making just as much power, same reliability for an additional $4000
Overkill is an understatement, keep it stock as you run it now, throw a new water pump on there maybe
